This weekend was the long-anticipated wedding weekend of Alix & Nate Lane (Alix is my boyfriend Aaron's sister). It was absolutely beautiful and such a great time. Believe me, I have gone to enough weddings this year to be brutally honest, and it was no snooze-fest. It WAS, however, very cold for an October wedding. Anyways, after a few too many days in a row wearing pants that I'm not proud to admit to wearing (they might be made of cotton, and maybe a bit of spandex, and I suppose I have worn them to the gym a few times) I was ready to have fun with my outfits.
My first look is from the rehearsal dinner. I went with a purple lace criss-cross-back mini-dress (F21), black leather/suede two-toned wedge booties (Dolce Vita), black faux leather jacket (old, H&M), black quilted/gold chain bag (unknown boutique), black round/cat-eye sunnies (unknown), onyx/diamond ring (Chanel), and a sequin headband.
My second look is from the wedding. A black & white lace bodice/peplum-style dress (F21), leopard-print pumps (Steve Madden), purple jeweled statement necklace (F21), and you'll soon notice that, being a true Massachusetts girl, I'm always wearing ones of these.
